As Mayor Of Sydney you must be aware of the traffic problems in and out of the city.
Trains timetables a substandard.
Travel times by a car are down to 20 km per hour.
Parking is expensive (if you can find a park).
I have been to many cities around the world and Sydney is the worst for getting in and around the city.
Bicycle lanes are not the answer.
I was recently in Perth. Their CAT system for the inner city encourages people to enjoy the city and as such spend money.
Whay does Sydney have?
The Mono Rail....but wait...You sold it! Snapped up by your rival city in Melbourne!
What about the shoppers shuttle buses? They were doing a loop but you decided to halve this loop, exclude Elizabeth St, and only travel up and down George St. Why????
I have Two suggestions.
All trains in the CBD and to a radius of 5 to 10 Kms should be underground, ( go on a fact finding mission to Hong Kong).
To do this build high rise on the land where existing lines run. Developers would love to help you out here.
Establish Satalite parking lots where the trains go underground.
Finally, establish free shuttle buses around the city so people can get to places quickly and without having to put their hand in their pockets all the time.
Come on Clover. Get together with Barry and Toney and establish a long term goal that will benifit the future Sydney generation. Think!

COLES AT KINCUMBER
Coles Supermarket Kincumber.
How Rude you are chechout chick!
Followed a lady with a shopping trolly from deep in the isles. She went straight to the 12 items or less register. There were two people in front of her.
She began puting her items on the counter. 32 items!
I asked the Checkout chick does she normally allow this?
She said yes because they send them down from the other registers.
When I informed her that this was not the case she proceeded to give me a card for complaints. I replied that these complaints only end up in the bin...nothing happens!
I then pointed out the queue that had already formed because of what she had allowed and asked her what is the use of a 12 items or less sign if if staff ignore them.
She became "Huffy'.
So... I pointed out that there were all these other people, in a hurry, who just wanted to grab a couple of item and get home. What she was in fact doing was delaying/inconvienencing myself and other customers. Being bias towards a customer with more items (more profit???).
So as to not delay customers I promptly left...but I was made to feel as if I was in the wrong. This made me angry! I will shop elsewhere from now on and tell all my friends about Coles at Kincumber.

AAMI CAR INSURANCE
What a bunch of rip off artists!
I normally have a monthly payment taken from my direct debit account.
It went up $20 a month so we enquired as to why.
Now we have been with this company forat least 12 years with 2 cars.
Why????
The price went up because we have two extras on the vehicle:- Cruise control and power steering. WHAT?????
These have been on the car since we bought it in 2000.
AAMI will use any excuse to get you.
BEWARE!!!!

Foxtel...Not Happy Jan!!!!
I have been with Foxtell for years. one of the first to subscribe.I pay the full amount - Platnium.
My neighbours have Foxtel and they are all on the same package as me...Yet... they have all this fancy IQ etc. SO... I rang to complain. Cool we will update you for nothing...Excellent!! or so I thought.
Little man come out and says "oh you need new cabling. You will have to get a roofer in to lift the colourbond."
I don't think I should have to. He is an installer... so Install away I think.
What happens if i am a new customer? Do I have to get a roofer then? NO. This little twerp just didn't want the job.
Can't wait till my contract runs out. Very dissatisfied!!!
AND... Whats with the change in the Movies package? I now get less choices. Is that allowed? I still pay the same.

JUST CAR INSURANCE - NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
My son has been with Just Car insurance for years.
He went to renew this month and he is told it will be $25 more per month! What?? Yes! $250 more a year!!!!!
Why?? What could possibly have happened to make the price jump 27% in one year?
ANSWER:- We had a big payout during the Queensland floods.
Needless to say:- JUST CAR INSURANCE can go and get STUFFED!

Gosford City Council.... Fail!
I would have thought that cleaniness and health would be an issue with any council but NOT in this instance.
Hylton Moore AFL Oval facilities are a disgrace!
The local AFL club competes (and in a way represents Gosford area) in the Newcastle Black Diamond League.
Travel is an issue and when teams travel to our ground (from one to two hours) they are met with a ground with pour drainage and an undulating surface... But that is not my rant.
It is the change rooms! THERE IS NO HOT WATER!!!!
Why? Because council decided to flip the switch. Why? There is a crack in the brick wall of the visitors change room.
Now the visitors can use the change room but can only have a cold shower.
Imagine a cold Saturday afternoon coming off the field, dirty (often muddy) and stinky of all those footy smells and often scratched and bleeding.
What do you do?
Some tough it out and shower.
Most get in their car and go home with a not so favourable attitude to anything Gosford.
Isn't this an OH&S issue?

AGL Solar. what the.... Since when does a company give you a quote over the phone then demand a reply to their quote within six day and require full payment up front before they start work. What a joke. No wonder we went with someone else who bothered to send a representative with full information and no pressure.
Upon further investigation the solar panels on offer from AGL are inferior and the 'word' is that they only last 6 year before problem start to occur.
